love you grandpa!! miss you!

grandpa loved shooting guns and on the flowers for the boys and girls we got one of his shot gun shells and i took one off and it dropped in grandpas resting place and we all teased and said that grandpa wanted one too..

So since Nov '09 my grandpa just kept getting sicker and sicker and we found out he had cancer Feb 4th esophageal cancer. Wow.. it was so hard! he just kept getting weaker and sicker and it just hadn't hit me yet. My grandma said that he always said that i was there with him on the end of the bed but then he would fall asleep and when he woke up i wouldn't be there and he would be kinda upset with my grandma that she let him fall asleep. Than I went and hung out down at his house with him. He had lost so much weight it and was getting weaker. He would change everyday and i didn't want to miss anything! I spent my 21 birthday (Feb 27) with him and my family that was there. It was the best birthday ever! I just sat on the bed holding his hand.. rubbing it as he fell asleep.. and he would wake up looking at me and saying.. oh my special girl your so beautiful.. it took everything for me not to cry in front of him! He woke up from one of his short naps and me and any aunt Teena were in is room and Teena reminded him that it was my "drinking birthday" and my grandpa said oh shit.. you can only drink if i am with you to have one too, ( my grandpa didn't drink he is just so cute and always looking out for me!! ) by this time he couldn't eat and could drink very little water! March 2ND was his birthday! he was not able to celebrate with us but we had a fire for him cuz that was all that he wanted he told us a couple days before! the grand kids went into his room to sing him happy birthday, he was not coherent but i was holding his and after we sang that i squoze it 3 times while i told him i loved him and he just squoze it back! March 3RD we were now giving him pain medicine every 15-20 minutes and he just was there sleeping. I was got there around 5 when i got off work and was there taking my turn giving the medicine till about 11 or so and than my grandpa passed away March 4th at like 3 in the morning!

I cant believe he is gone! but i am so grateful to have the gospel in my life that i know i will see him again soon! Even though i miss him so much right now!! I am so grateful and proud of the example my brother set to go serve a mission. He is able to bless families in mexico that they can have an eternal family and have the blessing that he and I have.

Joanna is married!

So i know this is old but i have posted much lately so i am trying to catch up.. : ) So Jo got married Jan 13! Crazy but i am so happy for her. She was beautiful and we had such a great time at her reception! Jo I am going to miss ya but life moves on and you found your best friend and i am so excited for you! Love ya!

Sister Alyssa Doman

Alyssa Doman!

She is so amazing! I went to her farewell today, she is going to be serving in California at the Oakland Temple visiter center spanish speaking! She spoke on Faith and what a powerful talk she gave. Alyssa is always happy, I don't think I have ever seen her with out a smile! She is always looking for someone to help and serve! She knows what she wants and will go for it! I love being around Alyssa she has this personality that you can't help but want to be like her! She has such a strong testimony and loves to share it! She is going to be a great missionary and I will miss her tonz! Love ya Lys!!!

All of this missionaries going out and coming home have been such a testimony builder for me! I am so grateful that girls and boys of age will take time to serve, and I am sure the people that they touch, teach, and grow to love are very grateful too!

Elder Miller!

My brother left on his mission Jan 13th and I can't believe he is an Elder! That day was full of emotions, that I really can't put into words. I am so proud of my brother and love him so much! He is going to be the best missionary and everyone is going to love him as much as I do. Jake has a great attitude about anything that comes his way! He always has a smile on that will make anyone smile that sees it! He understands that it is more important to care about others more than himself!

We have received a letter and two emails from him already, and reading those put a smile on my face and a comfort in my heart! Jake is the best brother a sister could ask for he has always been there for me! Even though he is gone on his mission he is still here for me, and I felt that when I read his letter. He is a stud and is going to influence so many people and I can't wait to hear all of his stories! I love my family more than anything and am so grateful to know that we can be together forever! It is so exciting that Jake is going to be able to teach that to the people of mexico!

We went to dinner at texas than on to bowling which

was so fun! Than watched a movie. we had a blast!!

Yah! Girls... we were brave and went to stepfather

with out boys ha.. it was a good movie!

we all were scared, i was in the middle of shay and

alyssa and alyssa ha kept reaching over for shay!!

shay reached back for her and i was just holding there arms

ha.. we have a blast together!

Than we went to spoon me and met up with some boys from

salt lake that we met the night before at a dance.

and they were the reason why i got pulled over that night

ha that was not fun.

there is never a dull moment when i am with

these girls!!
